I don’t know who you are. I came across you in Friendster. I noticed the shoutout overthere, citing Anais Nin. Who is someone not really popular, I would say. Who is someone I like as well I like very much her friend Henry Miller.
Well, the picture you posted in your profile made the missing percentage to the magic. Then I spotted the url of your blog and … I was so intrigued that I could not stand the curiosity to try to find out more about the person, about you.
I can’t read everything, I don’t know tagalog. But what is in English is enough to make me so amazed and more and more interested in your flow of thoughts. And to come back on this blog and read more.
There is a 1982 Italian movie, “Identificazione di una donna” (I can literally translate the title with “Identification of a woman”) by Michelangelo Antonioni (director part of the hystory of cinema, author of “Blow up”, “Zabriskie point”, “Deserto rosso” among the others, friend and mentor of Wim Wenders, passed away few days ago), story of a movie director just left by his wife. His personal situation gives him the idea of making a movie about women and the realationships between men and women. He starts to search for an ideal archetypical woman, to get inspiration for the plot and at the same time to look for the actress. And in his quest, he start to put one after the other all the pieces of the puzzle, trying to build the Woman of his mind. The movie is a drama, so needless to say that he fails !
However, all this long story to say that I see myself playing the role of that movie director, trying to understand the author of these considerations, a woman as well ….
Will I fail ? It’s an interesting challenge !
